Lets say it takes you 1 hour to build that super strong army. You have giants, wizards, barbs, archs, mins, or whatever. First, you spent a lot of elixir to build that army. So the battle you choose to fight better pay for the cost of building the army. Second, you only get to fight one battle per hour. Make a mistake!? There goes another hour.
So I think you see what I am driving at. You need to build an army that is fast to build, and cheap to build. Every drop of elixir you spend on the army is elixir you are not spending on upgrades!
So that brings us to the BAM tactic. There are other articles and videos out there, but I will tell you all you need to know.
- BAM stands for barbarians, archers, and minions. Not to worry if you don't have minions, just use half and half barbarians and archers. But minions actually reduce the time it takes to build the army because you are using the dark barracks. And because you are using fewer barbs and archs, you learn to use them better! You will find one of the benefits of using minions, is that they are AWESOME at taking out clan troops and heros (king, queen).
- Fight selection is key! It doesn't matter what type of army you build, if you don't pick the right battle for the composition, you are sure to fail. When using the BAM tactic, you specifically look for bases with full gold mines and elixir collectors (storages too). If it is too hard to get too, or they aren't full, keep hitting the 'Next' button. You will learn it takes gold to make gold! I wonder where I have heard something similar?
